Van Gogh Museum Collection Catalogues
Years of systematic scholarly study of the artworks in the museum's collection have resulted in a series of eight collection catalogues. Four of them are devoted to Van Gogh’s drawings, two to his paintings, and two to works by his contemporaries.

Odilon Redon and Andries Bonger
Andries Bonger (1861–1936) was an art collector and a good friend of the brothers Theo and Vincent van Gogh. The collection catalogue describes the 36 works by Odilon Redon that are part of the Andries Bonger Collection held in the Van Gogh Museum.

With some 460 drawings, more than 200 letter sketches and most of Van Gogh's surviving sketchbooks, the Van Gogh Museum holds the largest and richest collection of drawings by the artist. Between 1880 and 1883, Van Gogh developed from a rank novice into an assured draughtsman.
